There have been lots of good films in 2022, proving that the development of the film industry in this era is starting to show significant improvement.

Not much different from 2022, in 2023 there are lots of films that fans have been waiting for.

Therefore, in this post, I will summarize the 10 most awaited films in 2023. Here's the discussion:

1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy has finally entered its final phase. The story of Peter Quill will be closed with this film. Let's hope that this film can improve the quality of the MCU, which has disappointed fans a lot lately.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is slated for release on May 5, 2023.

2. John Wick: Chapter 4

Judging from the title of the film, many people will be immediately interested in watching it.

Judging from the teaser, it can be seen that John Wick Chapter 4 will feature wilder action scenes than in previous films.

It's interesting to see how the new formula will be presented in this one film.

3. Dune: Part Two

The first part of Dune proves that films released during a pandemic still have great hopes for success.

One of the interesting things about this Dune film is that it has a beautiful world setting, just like the one in the Star Wars movie.

And finally, the sequel to Dune has been confirmed to be released this year, namely on November 3, 2023.

4. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Who doesn't know Christopher Nolan? My favorite director already has a lot of films that amaze many audiences. And in 2023, on July 21 to be precise, Nolan will release his latest film entitled Oppenheimer which is a biographical film about Robert Oppenheimer, the inventor of the atomic bomb which was later used by the United States to blow up Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II.

Judging from the trailer, it feels like this film will have a dark and gloomy nuance throughout its story, in line with how Robert felt at that time who felt very guilty for what he had created.

6. Shazam! Fury of the Gods

The first Shazam film succeeded in giving a new color to the DCEU at that time, and in 2023 the sequel is finally confirmed to be available, namely on March 17.

Somehow, Shazam became one of the DC movies that I feel will be the standout film of the year. One of the factors that made me like this film is its beautiful underwater setting. From the first film alone, it is clear how the beauty of the city of Atlantis really amazed the audience.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is slated for release on December 25, 2023.

10. Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning - Part One

Ethan Hunt is back in action this year, and this time the action will be even tenser than in the previous films. In the teaser alone, it is clear that there will be lots of dangerous action scenes performed by Tom Cruise, even more, interestingly, the majority of these scenes are carried out by Tom Cruise himself without the help of a stuntman.

For you fans of action films, you must watch Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning - Part One which is planned to be released on July 14, 2023.
